I got this sling when my daughter was 2 weeks old. Although I was fitted at a store that carried many types of slings, and all of my measurements fit the size I bought (small), it never seemed to fit correctly. This sling seemed too long for me, so baby was always swinging about, and I felt as though I needed to carry her higher so ended up supporting her with my arm all the time (which sort of misses the point of a carrier). But if I had gotten one that was smaller, then it would have been too tight, I think.

I could only carry her, even as a newborn, for about 30 minutes before my shoulder started to really hurt, and I don't normally have any back or shoulder problems. Also, she never seemed properly supported in it, and just sunk down into a little ball (which the instructions warn against, to prevent suffocation), so I was constantly checking her to see if she was still breathing. Because this sling is not adjustable in any way, I also could never let her see out, and she hated being completely enclosed.

Overall, I really tried to like this sling for several months, but just never did - and neither did my daughter. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

Unfortunately, I was so turned off by this experience that I didn't want to waste any more money on trying to find a sling that worked better. But the whole time I wished I'd been able to "wear" my baby like I had hoped. Oh well, maybe next time.
